We welcome absolute beginners from age 4 upwards, and classes are thoughtfully split by age and ability, ensuring every dancer feels confident, supported, and challenged at the right level — no one gets left behind, and no one feels out of place! For Younger Dancers (Ages 4–7): Our “First Steps Ballroom” group provides a playful, engaging introduction to the world of Ballroom and Latin. We keep the atmosphere light-hearted, building confidence, listening skills, and laying strong foundations — all while having fun. For Older Kids & Teens: Our beginner groups for older children and teens focus on learning key dance styles at a pace that suits their age and ability, with the chance to work towards medals, competitions, or simply dance for fun — all while building confidence, friendships, and life-long skills. At Swayology Dance Studios, everyone has the chance to start their dance journey in the right group, with the right support — and maybe even become a future star.
